Sessions S2, S3, S4, S5

Morning: Practice by instrument. This morning preparation will give you the necessary autonomy to take your place in the general rehearsals organized in the afternoon.
directed by a professional musician specialized in your instrument.
Presentation of the pieces, analysis of their structure.
Exploration of rhythmic and harmonic difficulties.
Heating, positioning of the instrument.
Specific techniques, personalized advice.

Afternoon: General rehearsals and combos.
Implementation of songs and music.
Listening and locating in the structure.
Hardware setup, volume management.
Styles, ambiances and nuances.
 Improvisation.
Communication and support on stage.

The stay allows an immersion in music with an intense instrumental practice. In each session: rehearsals in combos (small training) and in formation (numerous musicians) and concerts / shows including various styles: Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop, Chanson, Funk, Reggae, RnB, Brazilian, Afro-Cuban...
The repertory, which is different at each session, is communicated fifteen days before the beginning of each session.

Sessions S1, S1bis, S6, S6bis

Two special sessions in April (S1) and October (S6) offer you the choice between two formulas:
 
- Complete sessions from 10/04 to 17/04/2017 (S1) and from 23/10 to 30/10/2017 (S6).
or
- Long weekends from 13/04 to 17/04/2017 (S1 bis) and from 26/10 to 30/10/2017 (S6 bis) which are addressed to those who are not available all week.
 
These sessions are also special because:
1. They each propose a specific theme. For April 2017 the theme is: "Film music" with many styles of music of films approached (jazz, pop, etc ...).
2. Unlike S2, S3, S4 and S5 mornings and afternoons will be devoted to group music taking into account your experience.

Additional informations

Provided equipment: microphones, PA, guitar and bass amplifiers, acoustic and digital pianos, five acoustic drumsets and two digital kits (Roland TD).

Required equipment: your instrument, guitar, bass, saxophone, clarinet, flute, jacks, drum sticks, rods, brushes, closed headphones for drummers, paper/pen, MP3 player, sound recorder.

Recommended equipment: (if your prefer to take your own equipment) your microphone, your digital piano or synthetizer, your guitar or bass amplifier, effets. your own drumset (or snare drum, cymbals, etc...), laptop computer, tablet, usb key, hard drive, recordable cd's...
